Car and Driver writes that “the composed and compliant ride of the CR-V makes for pleasant commutes, long or short.” The latest model brings refreshed styling and technology, plus a powerful 1.5L turbocharged engine and sophisticated Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

It combines up to 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque with:

  • Up to an EPA-estimated 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway with FWD models*
  • Up to an EPA-estimated 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway with AWD models*

2020 Honda CR-V Powertrain HeroThe Honda CR-V Hybrid will utilize the same combination of 2.0L 16-Valve DOHC Atkinson Cycle with Two-Motor Hybrid System currently used in the popular and acclaimed Honda Accord Hybrid.

You’ll command up to 212 hp combined, with an Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) distributing power between all four wheels for engaging performance. Better yet, Honda predict a 50% bump in EPA city fuel economy ratings compared against the standard CR-V.
