The all-new 2024 CR-V, expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024, is designed to be a hydrogen-powered vehicle with a plug-in option and a variety of modern technology features. This model includes two separate hydrogen tanks located in the rear of the car along with a battery plug-in as proof of Honda’s commitment to creating green vehicles for the future.

The battery is so small that Honda engineers rarely include it in diagrams of the all-new midsize SUV.

Exterior and Interior Updates

One of the first things 2024 CR-V owners will notice is the stylish honeycomb grill and enhanced exterior design. The new CR-V is also a slightly larger model with a more powerful and stable base.

An immersive 12-speaker system is available on select trims along with heat-controlled front seats for improved entertainment and comfort.

The additional storage room in the larger SUV gives drivers the space they need for weekend adventures or passenger bags. New CR-Vs will also be able to combine EV range and a hybrid system for efficient daily commuting or extended journeys.

Safety Upgrades

Improved Honda Sensing 360 technology adds all-around protection and driver warnings from every angle. These collision mitigation technologies support distracted drivers by alerting them of potential hazards and even taking corrective action when needed. With these upgraded safety features, there are virtually no blind spots while in the city or on the highway.
