What to Expect from the New Insight
We still don’t know very much about the capabilities of the 2019 Honda Insight, but the information that has already been revealed gives drivers plenty to get excited about.
- Smart Technology Features: The 2019 Honda Insight will come standard with Honda Sensing technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control and a Collision Mitigation Braking System. Honda LaneWatch will also come standard, and this is only the start of what the Insight has to offer.
- Interior and Exterior Design Features: The last generation of the Honda Insight was easily comparable to the Prius in terms of shape and size. This year’s model has been redesigned to look like a sleeker, more energetic sedan. Its interior will offer upscale features like perforated leather seating, an 8-inch infotainment system, expansive rear legroom, and more.
- Efficiency and Performance: As noted above, the engineers at Honda expect the new Insight to offer best-in-class performance and incredible fuel efficiency. Its standard two-electric-motor hybrid system has been paired with a 2.0L DOHC Atkinson cycle engine.
